Natalie

Natalie Estefano is an Animal Science major and class of 2027. She is originally from Dallas, Texas and developed an interest in veterinary medicine through her plethora of childhood pets including dogs, ferrets, a rabbit, a prairie dog, and even a praying mantis. She’s a bit conflicted on what specific area of vet med she’d like to eventually enter, but small animals and exotics have always had her heart.

She has extensive experience with cats and dogs from her work at a small animal hospital throughout high school. Since beginning at A&M, she has branched out into large animals, including volunteering with the horses at the Polo club and attending unique training on the husbandry and veterinary care of Dairy cattle. Her research focuses on evaluating endangered species, and she will also travel to Costa Rica this summer to practice shelter medicine.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys attending concerts and music festivals, drawing and painting, and working out with CHAARG. Her spunky great-dane, Frankie, is the absolute highlight of her day. She is also an active and distinguished member of the TAMU Pre-Vet Society.
