Agnes

Agnes is a Class of 2026 Biomedical Sciences major with a minor in Business. Born in Versailles, France, she then moved to Houston, Texas, in 2013 and has lived there since then.

Her interest in veterinary medicine was sparked 12 years ago when she started riding horses. Her love for animals, horses especially, and the veterinary profession kept growing over the years. She now volunteers at the local animal shelter where she helps animals recover from spays and neuters. She also has veterinary experience from her time spent in her hometown’s small animal clinic. This past year she spent the summer in South Africa working on the conservation of cheetahs in a reserve. After her undergraduate years, she hopes to attend Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences for her DVM and then specialize in either equine or exotic animals.

Outside of class, she is a veterinary officer in the Biomedical Sciences Association as well as a Power Hour chair and part of the leading nominating committee for Pi Beta Phi. In her free time, she also enjoys running, rock climbing, and spending time with friends.
