Overview
Join Movora on Tuesday & Wednesday, Aug. 6-7, for the Universal Hip™ workshop presented by BioMedtrix® at Texas A&M Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) in College Station, TX. Developed in cooperation with experienced industry-leading surgeons, during this two-day workshop, participants will learn the proper technique for using the BioMedtrix® Universal Hip™ System.
Description
Developed in cooperation with experienced industry-leading surgeons, this two-day workshop consists of a comprehensive online educational component, supplemental classroom instruction, and extensive hands-on laboratory experience. This multi-faceted approach to education offers participants the necessary resources and support to familiarize themselves sufficiently with the procedure and reliably offer an advanced orthopedic service to their clientele.
Objectives
Participants will learn the proper technique for the use of the Universal Hip™ system, focusing on preoperative planning, surgical technique, and clinical follow-up, with an opportunity to use the instruments to gain an understanding of the surgical objectives.
Online Course
The BioMedtrix® Universal Hip™: Cementless and Cemented THR Online Course was developed to provide educational reference material and resources to maximize the hands-on learning of laboratory exercises. Consisting of reading assignments, visual aids and videos, self-assessment activities, and moderated discussion forums, BioMedtrix online courses are designed to enhance a participating surgeon’s understanding of the material and reinforce the learning process. Completion of the online material is required for surgeons to be prepared to participate in the hands-on laboratory exercises.

Overview
Join Movora on Thursday–Saturday, Aug. 8-10, for our I-Loc® IM Fixator workshop by BioMedtrix® at the Texas A&M VMBS in College Station, TX. This two-and-a-half-day workshop featuring the I-Loc® 3-4-5 and 6-7-8 Systems will cover interlocking nail principles in various bone fracture configurations.
Description
Featuring the I-Loc® 3-4-5 and the 6-7-8 Systems, this two-and-a-half-day workshop will cover principles of interlocking nailing in a variety of long bone fracture configurations for standard, large, and small breed dogs and cats. The evolution of interlocking nail designs will be addressed, emphasizing the concept of angle-stable centromedullary fixation.
Objectives
Detailed surgical techniques for fracture fixation using the I-Loc system will be demonstrated, followed by a wet and dry laboratory with extensive hands-on fracture reduction and fixation on small and large-sized models. A report of clinical results and expectations will conclude the laboratory.
