We’re excited to welcome you back—in person—for this year’s Veterinary Job & Externship Fair! We encourage you to use this event to create relationships with the future of our profession through discussions of:
- summer employment opportunities with first- and second-year veterinary students,
- fourth-year externship options with third-year veterinary students, and
- associate employment opportunities with fourth-year veterinary students and alumni.
Partnerships have always made this event possible, and we’re grateful to the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) for co-sponsoring. We also welcome the opportunity to work with the Texas A&M Career Center again, as registration will take place through their HireAggies Career Fair platform. Employers will be able to set up or edit their profiles, post open positions, and view student profiles before the in-person fair.
A limited number of employers, on a first-come-first-serve basis, in Texas Regions 1, 2, 9, and 10 have the option to attend the fair at our Veterinary Education, Research, & Outreach (VERO) campus at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. First-year veterinary students at VERO (n=18) will be present in person.
Arrangements will be made for first- through fourth-year veterinary students and alumni in College Station to connect virtually with these practices later in the day (additional information will be forthcoming for practices registering for the VERO fair site).
