Hanna
Hanna
Hanna is a class of 2027 Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, Non-Thesis Option (BIMS MS NTO), graduate student at the VMBS. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2025 with a BS in Biology, with concentrations in Bioinformatics and Health, and is originally from Keller, Texas. Her passion for human medicine was sparked through reading medical books at an early age, which fueled her curiosity about disease, treatment, and patient care. This interest was further shaped by family members’ experiences within the healthcare system, as well as hands-on volunteer work in clinical settings. Together, these experiences reinforced her desire to pursue a career dedicated to caring for people in her community. She has gained clinical exposure through hospital volunteering and physician shadowing experiences. Hanna is currently most interested in oncologic surgery and gastroenterology, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of school, Hanna enjoys cooking and meal-prepping, exploring new music genres, embroidery, and remaining actively involved in leadership and mentorship initiatives across campus.
