Our lab has several ongoing projects:
- Hemoperfusion as a novel adjunctive treatment for sepsis in the horse
- Feasibility of hemoperfusion in foals and calves
- Protective treatments to the intestinal endothelial glycocalyx (EG) in horses with small intestinal disease
- Utility of hemoperfusion in small intestinal ischemia and reperfusion injury
- Levacetam as a novel treatment in goats for seizure disorder
