Priscilla was 4 years old when she arrived at the center in 1997 with Annie, Al, and Bubba from the Kingwood area. She was very lovable and liked to play rough. Her personality was the backbone of the center. All of the dogs respected her and gave her plenty of room when she would enter a room. The cats also knew that she was the queen of the house and her wish was their command. Her regal demeanor demanded their admiration and respect.
The center staff will always remember the key role that Priscilla played in our lives. She was not only beautiful to behold but her heart beamed with love for her caretakers. All visitors to the center loved to lavish her with their attention. Priscilla loved being petted but would grab your hand back with her claw if you intended to stop the petting. She was impossible to resist. She will live on forever in our memories and our hearts. Priscilla will always be our “queen”.
