Kara

Kara is a class of 2027 animal science major from Cypress, Texas. Her love for veterinary medicine started with showing animals in high school and continued growing when she started working in clinics when she was seventeen. She hopes to one day attend veterinary school and go into mixed animal practice to work with companion animals and livestock. 

Since starting college, Kara has furthered her experience by working in local small animal hospitals. She intends to expand her knowledge even further by attending unique training in the husbandry and veterinary care of dairy cattle and continuing to volunteer at local stock shows as a committee member. 

Kara enjoys spending time with her friends and cooking new recipes in her free time. She is active in Aggie Sisters for Christ, Impact Ministry, and the Pre-Vet Society.
