Karenne

Karenne is a veterinary student in the Class of 2028. She grew up in South Korea until she migrated to Austin, TX in high school. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Mathematics. 

While adjusting to the new culture and language, she found comfort in a small cat sanctuary, where she volunteered and eventually worked. Through a variety of experiences from small animal practice to studying abroad in Thailand, her love for cats grew into a passion for veterinary medicine as a whole.

Outside of class, she likes to play video games, draw, or spend time exploring coffee shops in the area.
