Katie

Katie Schoeneberg is an Animal Science major in the class of 2028. She is from Spring, TX, which is located just north of Houston.

Her passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood, surrounded by animals—whether playing with her dogs at home or spending time with cattle on her grandparents’ land. From an early age, she knew animal care was her calling. Volunteering at a local small animal clinic only deepened her love for animals and solidified her desire to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Katie plans to continue her education in veterinary school, focusing on small animal care. Outside of academics, she enjoys reading, collecting vinyl records, binge-watching true crime documentaries, and spending quality time with her cat, Jasper.
