Madi

Madi is a member of the veterinary medicine class of 2028 from Glen Rose, Texas.  As an avid rider growing up, Madi was inspired by the world of equine medicine to begin her journey as a veterinarian.  She competed in local, regional, and national 4-H competitions, and shadowed and assisted at small animal clinics and equine hospitals across the United States. Over time, she also discovered an interest in large exotic and wildlife species. She became more familiar with different species by working at an exotic hoof stock ranch and helping conduct research on sea turtle migration and behavior in Greece.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, with a minor in Chemistry and a certification in Equine Science at Texas Tech University.  She plans to practice large animal medicine with a focus on equine, wildlife, and exotic hoof stock.

In her free time, Madi loves to ride horseback, go skiing in the winter, travel, read, play music, and spend time with her friends and family.
