Maria

Maria is a biomedical sciences major and a member of the class of 2026. She is from Venezuela, where she grew up watching her dad work in his veterinary clinic. She moved to Texas a few years ago to have the best opportunities in education. Her love for animals is what sparked her passion for veterinary medicine.

Maria has been honored to work with great veterinarians in small animal clinics, where she has experienced procedures and surgeries. She’s very interested in marine animals and the exotics branch of veterinary medicine. Maria loves to paint, hang out with her friends and family, cuddle with her pets, and bake desserts in her spare time.
