The Clinical & Research Information Service (CRIS) provides information services to students, faculty, and staff at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS). We also provide limited resources for alumni, referring veterinarians, and the public.

This site is primarily intended for alumni and referring veterinarians — serving as a quick reference for information-related needs. Current VMBS faculty, students, and staff are encouraged to contact the information specialists for assistance or visit our SharePoint site for full access to our services.

Our faculty information specialists strive to improve patient health by teaching students how to better find and acquire information resources to provide the best options for clinical decision-making. We help the VMBS meet the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Council on Education (AVMA COE) Standard 5: Information Resources through teaching, research consultations and collaborations, and service.
