Archived Fair
We’re excited to welcome you back for this year’s Veterinary Job & Externship Fair on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We encourage you to use this event to create relationships with the future of our profession through discussions of:
- summer employment opportunities with first- and second-year veterinary students,
- fourth-year externship options with third-year veterinary students, and
- associate employment opportunities with fourth-year veterinary students and alumni.
Partnerships have always made this event possible, and we’re grateful to the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) for their long-time support of this event.
This year, we’re partnering with the Office of Veterinary Continuing Education (CE) to offer a special opportunity to those representing veterinary practices at the Veterinary Job & Externship Fair on Friday evening, Sept. 30.
Event Schedule
- Friday, Sept. 30: Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center’s Hullabaloo Room
- 7–9 p.m.: Dinner + Veterinary Economics & Education CE
- 7–9 p.m.: Dinner + Veterinary Economics & Education CE
- Saturday, Oct. 1: Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex (VBEC) – VENI Building
VETERINARY JOB & EXTERNSHIP FAIR- 9:00–11:00 a.m.: First- and second-year veterinary students
- 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.: LUNCH BREAK
- 12:00–2:00 p.m.: Third- and fourth-year veterinary students, plus graduated veterinarians seeking employment
- 2:00 p.m.: Fair Closes
Registration & Fees
- The registration fee of $275 includes exhibit booth space and up to two attending representatives for the Job & Externship Fair.
- An additional payment of $150 per representative is required for each additional representative who is attending.
- Booth space will not accommodate more than two representatives at a time.
- There is no additional cost to attend the CE opportunity for those representing a veterinary practice at the Job & Externship Fair.
- To attend the CE opportunity, be sure to complete the appropriate questions in the Representative Information section of the Registration Form.
