Chee-Hoon Chang earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from Chonnam National University in South Korea. After spending a few years in Public Service in South Korea, she realized that she was more interested in clinical practice. After she practiced in a private small animal clinic for several years in South Korea, she came to University of Missouri where she did research on feline asthma. Also, she got licensed as a veterinarian in USA while she was in University of Missouri. She completed her small animal rotating internship and specialty internship on small animal emergency and critical care in Washington State University in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Chee-Hoon joined GI Lab in August 2015 to pursue her combined program with PhD and residency in small animal internal medicine.
