Serum Assays

• Serum Trypsin-Like Immunoreactivity (TLI)
  • For exocrine pancreatic function testing (i.e to diagnose EPI) in dogs and cats (species-specific)
• Serum Cobalamin (Vitamin B12) and Folate (Vitamin B9)
  • Test of small intestinal function (not species-specific)
• Pancreatic Lipase Immunoreactivity (PLI)
  • Test for diagnosis of pancreatitis in dogs and cats (species-specific). Additional information regarding the various lipase assays
• Serum Bile Acids
  • Test for hepatic function – dogs, cats, and other species
• Thyroid Hormones and Cortisol
  • Total T4, TSH, Free T4, cortisols
• Canine C-reactive Protein
  • Test for systemic inflammation – dogs only

Fecal Assays

• Fecal alpha 1 – Proteinase Inhibitor assay
• Enteropathogen Panel- for canine and feline- both include PCR and IFA testing
  • Canine panel includes PCR testing for net F toxin gene-C. perfringens, C. difficile, Campylobacter jejuni, canine parvovirus, Salmonella on enrichment broth, and IFA testing for Giardia and Cryptosporidium
  • Feline panel includes PCR testing for net F toxin gene-C. perfringens, C. difficile, Campylobacter jejuni, feline panleukopenia virus (FPV), Salmonella on enrichment broth, Tritrichomonas foetus, and IFA testing for Giardia and Cryptosporidium

• Fecal PCR Test for Tritrichomonas foetus/blagburni
  • PCR test Tritrichomonas foetus
• Fecal PCR Test for Campylobacter jejuni
  • PCR test for Campylobacter jejuni
• Fecal PCR Test for Canine Schistosomiasis
