CVM Hosts National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Ebony Horsewomen
Dr. Eleanor M. Green, the Carl B. King dean of veterinary medicine and National Cowgirl Hall of Fame honoree, welcomed National Cowgirl Museum staff, fellow Honoree Patricia Kelly, and her group of five Ebony Horsewomen, Inc. Equestrian and Agricultural Center counselors to the CVM on Thursday, Aug. 25.
The group visited the new Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex (VBEC), the Thomas G. Hildebrand, DVM ’56 Equine Complex, and Parson’s Mounted Calvary. On Friday, Aug. 26, their visit concluded with tours of the Texas A&M University main campus and the George Bush Presidential Library & Museum.
