The mission of the Yang lab@TAMU is to understand how viruses replicate to expand the knowledge of both viruses and their hosts, and to develop novel strategies combating human and animal viral diseases. We mainly study poxviruses.
In parallel, we strive to train and educate the next generation of scientists.
