Whether you are in the process of scheduling a tour or already have one on your calendar, the Ambassador team at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) has compiled essential information to help you maximize your experience.
Any tour attendee under the age of 18 must have a VMBS Tour Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian, and that parent or legal guardian must accompany them for the entire duration of the tour.
Your tour will begin at the Welcome Desk in the lobby of VENI (the wing of VBEC that faces Raymond-Stotzer Parkway with bronze horse statues in front). The address is 660 Raymond-Stotzer Parkway, College Station, Texas 77845.
Please arrive about 10 minutes before your tour starts. If you are running late, please call 979.458.9959 to speak to the Welcome Desk.
To tour our spaces, we ask that guests wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes, as this is a walking tour.
A daily standard walking tour will last between 30 and 45 minutes, whereas a full tour can take up to an hour and a half.
There is limited parking available at the Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex (VBEC), so we highly recommend taking the campus bus route 3 (Yell Practice). The bus will drop off passengers at the bull statue outside the college. If you drive your personal vehicle, enter Veterinary Way from Raymond-Stotzer Parkway. Please turn left at the horse statue and then proceed into Lot 24. There are Pay-to-Park parking spots in Lot 24 and Lot 101; they are labeled with designated signs. If you arrive and there are no available parking spots, please call 979.458.9959 to speak with your tour guide about alternative parking options. The payment terminal is in the garden near the bull statue. After parking, please take the sidewalk to the front of the VENI building (toward the horse statues) and meet your tour guide at the Welcome Desk.
