Connor

Connor, a current member of the veterinary class of 2029, completed his masters and bachelor degree in biomedical sciences at Texas A&M University, alongside a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Cultural Competency and Communications in Spanish. He was actively involved in campus leadership during undergrad, receiving the Buck Weirus Spirit Award in 2024.

Connor is from Flower Mound, Texas. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors through backpacking and geocaching, as well as playing cello for First Baptist Church Bryan. He currently serves as the President for the CVM Class of 2029 and in additional leadership for the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA). Upon graduating, he intends to enter mixed animal practice with the hope to eventually own and operate a clinic of his own.

Grace

Grace is an Animal Science major with a minor in Biomedical Science. She is a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets and contracted in the U.S. Army.

Grace is also on an Army ROTC Scholarship, which means after graduating veterinary school, she will commission as an Officer in the U.S. Army. Over the summer, Grace was one of few A&M cadets selected to attend Army Air Assault School, where she developed proficient Air Force skills. Grace is also a proud member of the Texas A&M Corps Ranger Challenge team.

Grace always knew she wanted to dedicate her life to animals. Her passion for veterinary medicine stemmed from her mother, who worked most of her career in veterinary clinics. Throughout high school and college Grace has worked towards gaining more experience through various opportunities. In high school, she worked at a local animal hospital as a certified veterinary assistant and this past summer, she worked on a deer and exotic animal ranch. After graduation, Grace aspires to attend the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and become a mixed animal veterinarian.   

Annabelle

Annabelle is in the DVM class of 2028 at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. She grew up in San Antonio and then completed her undergraduate studies at Davidson College in North Carolina, where she earned a BS in Chemistry and Biology.

Throughout her undergraduate education, she shadowed at local small animal veterinary practices and got involved in multiple research projects, which led her to pursue veterinary medicine. After graduating, she moved back to Texas and worked as a
veterinary technician at a small animal general practice and a small animal emergency hospital. She is interested in completing an internship and residency after finishing her 4 years of veterinary school.

Outside of school, Annabelle enjoys spending time outside with her two Golden Retrievers, Eloise and Gus, cooking, playing board games, and reading.

Susie

Susie is a member of the DVM class of 2028. She is originally from New Jersey, but moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area in 2016. She completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of North Texas.

While working at a local clinic, she discovered her passion for small animal veterinary medicine. Susie hopes to move back to the Dallas Fort Worth area and work as a general practice veterinarian at that same clinic.

Outside of school, Susie enjoys spending time with her friends, taking her dog on walks, crocheting, and playing the occasional video game!

Madi

Madi is a member of the veterinary medicine class of 2028 from Glen Rose, Texas.  As an avid rider growing up, Madi was inspired by the world of equine medicine to begin her journey as a veterinarian.  She competed in local, regional, and national 4-H competitions, and shadowed and assisted at small animal clinics and equine hospitals across the United States. Over time, she also discovered an interest in large exotic and wildlife species. She became more familiar with different species by working at an exotic hoof stock ranch and helping conduct research on sea turtle migration and behavior in Greece.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, with a minor in Chemistry and a certification in Equine Science at Texas Tech University.  She plans to practice large animal medicine with a focus on equine, wildlife, and exotic hoof stock.

In her free time, Madi loves to ride horseback, go skiing in the winter, travel, read, play music, and spend time with her friends and family.

Seth

Seth is a member of the veterinary medicine class of 2028 and is from Dallas, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree in animal science from Texas A&M University, where he developed a strong foundation in animal healthcare.

His passion for veterinary medicine began in high school while working at a local veterinary clinic, where he gained hands-on experience and developed a deep appreciation for the profession. He is interested in expanding his knowledge of veterinary medicine and is dedicated to providing the best care for animals.

In his free time, he enjoys playing with his dog, spending quality time with family, staying active through fitness activities, and watching sports. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or exploring new ways to stay active, he values a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle alongside his veterinary pursuits.

Allie

Allie is a member of the veterinary class of 2028. She was born in Hartford, CT and moved to the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona at the age of four. She graduated from the University of Arizona with an honors degree in Veterinary Sciences. She grew up riding horses competitively where she also frequently followed around the veterinarians that would come to the barn. She had an important experience with her dog, dealing with liver disease, when she was in high school. Both these experiences have pushed her towards a career in veterinary medicine.

Currently, Allie hopes to either specialize in equine soft tissue surgery or to go into small animal urgent care. 

Outside of school, she likes to spend time with her dog, family, and friends, as well as ride horses, read, and spend time outside. 

Katie

Katie Schoeneberg is an Animal Science major in the class of 2028. She is from Spring, TX, which is located just north of Houston.

Her passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood, surrounded by animals—whether playing with her dogs at home or spending time with cattle on her grandparents’ land. From an early age, she knew animal care was her calling. Volunteering at a local small animal clinic only deepened her love for animals and solidified her desire to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Katie plans to continue her education in veterinary school, focusing on small animal care. Outside of academics, she enjoys reading, collecting vinyl records, binge-watching true crime documentaries, and spending quality time with her cat, Jasper.

Karenne

Karenne is a veterinary student in the Class of 2028. She grew up in South Korea until she migrated to Austin, TX in high school. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Mathematics. 

While adjusting to the new culture and language, she found comfort in a small cat sanctuary, where she volunteered and eventually worked. Through a variety of experiences from small animal practice to studying abroad in Thailand, her love for cats grew into a passion for veterinary medicine as a whole.

Outside of class, she likes to play video games, draw, or spend time exploring coffee shops in the area. 

Caleb

Caleb is majoring in Animal Science and Poultry Science in the class of 2027. He was born and raised in Snook, Texas. His love for veterinary medicine began at a young age through his involvement showing cattle, swine, and broilers through 4-H and FFA. Caleb’s goal is to attend Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine and go into mixed animal practice working with livestock and companion animals.

While in college, Caleb has gained experience by volunteering at a small animal vet clinic, interned in the Birthing Center at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and attended the United States Dairy Education & Training Consortium in Clovis, New Mexico. On campus, he is an Executive Director in MSC Aggie Leaders of Tomorrow and a member of the MSC Spencer Leadership Conference.

Caleb enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, gardening, playing with his many pets, actively participating in his local church, and helping his dad manage the family’s small cow-calf operation.
