Catching up with Sara Mashoof!

July 12, 2025:  Mike’s first student, Sara Mashoof, came to town and everyone got to catch up and hear her latest adventures. It was great to see her again!

May 9th, 2024: Morgan Sheppard, Nicholas Ebert, and Casey Whitley graduated with a BS. In Biomedical Sciences. We are so proud of what they have accomplished and look forward to their future endeavors. Here they are with Karina and Kerstin after a long day in the lab for Karina’s dissertation work.

January 24, 2024: Karina Hissen won 1st place for her poster presentation, awarded by the American Association of Veterinary Immunologists at The Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases. Here she is presenting her work on the “Effects of dietary glutamate supplementation on the respiratory burst of leucocytes in Hybrid Striped Bass”.
