Dr. Sebastian Fugmann Visits CVM, VTPB, and Our Lab

June 12th, 2015: With the support of Dr. Tiffany Yu and the Taiwanese Ministry of Science and Technology, Dr. Sebastian Fugmann visited the lab and gave a great talk in VTPB on the evolution of immunoglobulin gene diversification mechanisms in deuterostomes. He also got to reunite with his old Yale pal, Koichi.

May 19th, 2015: Dr. Pierette Appasamy of Chatham University won a grant to visit us and learn our Xenopus larval thymectomy technique. I think we learned much more from her!

June 18th, 2014: Mike was honored by the Instituto de Ciencias Biologicas at the Universidade Federal do Para in Brazil. We are very excited about our new collaboration with Leo Sena (far left) and others studying the immunogenetics of Amazonian aquatic mammals!

April 4th, 2014: Mike received the Outstanding Research Achievement Award for the papers and grants of 2013…Thanks, Lab, for making me look good! Thad received the 2014 John Paul Deleplane Award for Graduate Research in Cattle! Way to go Thad!
