3 lab alumni in CDC fellowships! EIS, PHEFA, ORISE

Three lab alumni are now working with the CDC in different fellowship programs. Italo Zecca MPH PhD is a Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer (class of 2023) with the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, Division of High Consequence Pathogens & Pathology based in Atlanta. Cassie Durden MS is a fellow with the CDC and Entomological Society of America’s Public Health Entomology for All (PHEFA) program in the Division of Arboviral Diseases, Fort Collins, CO, 2023-present. Ed Davila MPH PhD just accepted an ORISE fellowship with the CDC’s One Health Antimicrobial Resistance program, Outbreak Response and Prevention Branch, Division of Foodborne, Waterborne and Environmental Diseases in Atlanta. Congrats to all!
