Information for Faculty

Faculty at the School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences are encouraged to consider international engagements to enrich research and education opportunities for themselves, their research staff and especially students. Whether you are interested in hosting international students in your lab, establishing a study abroad program, or exploring other international partnership opportunities, our office is here to help.

Study Abroad and International Field Trips

Please contact us for support in developing or renewing study abroad programs and international field trips. New programs and trips must be approved at the departmental, school, and university levels and have strict deadlines up to a year prior to departure.

International Partnerships

Our office provides support to faculty interested in establishing and maintaining international collaborative partnerships. Please reach out to us if you are planning on formalizing a collaboration with an international university or other entity. We can facilitate the processing of international agreements depending on the nature of the collaboration.

Hosting International Students in the Veterinary Hospitals

The Texas A&M University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital is home to fourth-year Aggie veterinary student clinical rotations and has some limited space for international visiting students to participate in short-term rotations.
