VMBS Staff Recognized For Accomplishments, Longevity At Annual Awards Ceremony

Eleven staff members from the Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) were recognized at the 2023 Staff Awards Ceremony on Nov. 3 for their outstanding performance and accomplishments.

Winners of the Staff Recognition Award include Demetria Cooper, Iris De La Cruz, Shelley Drgac, Carol Emola, Anne Frederikson, Cody Holland, Chris Long, Angelia Taylor, and Eleni Vonda.

In addition, Kathie Smith received the Pearl Enfield Staff Leadership Award and Aimee Arrington received the W. Terry Stiles Service Award.

Many other staff members were also recognized with longevity awards for up to 25 years of service at the VMBS.

The five-year longevity award recipients were Sujata Balasubramanian, Chelsea Barnes, Maliha Batool, Trudy Bennett, Brooklyn Cupps, Chase DeMus, Brice Easterling, Alexis Fichtel, Nicole Foley, Laura Anne Frederiksen, Stacie Grange, Elaine Graves, Samantha Grosse, Jose Guillen, Amy Hessler, Mike Hong, Calli Jabin, Sherri Jerzyk, Keswick Killets, Erica Kubichek, Chris Long, Lilly Nelson, StephanieOakley-Fajardo, Katrina Sciba, Nancy Singletary, Gustavo Snel, Patricia Stepp, Amber Stevens, Melody Stoker, Logan Thomas, Nicole Tipping, Erin Todd, SrijanaUpadhyay, and Meredith Wells.

The 10-year longevity award recipients were Rhonda Bodiford, Diana Cottrell, Loretta Emola, Heidi Gaddis, Sara Galow, Daniel Garcia Gonzalez, Leah       Garza, Danielle Gregorich, Charles Leggett, Bobby Mills, Michael Nelson, So Young Park, Tiffany Railsback, and Liz    Wood.

The 15-year longevity award recipients were Hollye Felps, Jairam Katta, Jamie Kearney, Kord Kothmann, Jennie Lamb, Joe Luksovsky, Juana Noyola, and Jasmine Thweatt.

The 20-year longevity award recipients were Wanda Hoelscher, Jaime McCue, Michelle Pankonien, and Ernesto Ramos.

Finally, two 25-year longevity awards were given to Candise McKay and Beverly Wymola.
