Biography
"My early veterinary career has mainly focused on clinical medicine in a private practice setting. Within 6 years, I found myself in a veterinary clinician and clinical teacher role. I still find clinical medicine very intriguing while at the same time challenging. Teaching fourth year veterinary students has been exhilarating and exhausting. One of the biggest hurdles in teaching a student how to communicate in a way that brings about understanding, especially to the client. At the same time, I am mentoring the students in what joy it is to be a small animal veterinarian."
