Dr. Francis Aduku

Francis, originally from Ghana, earned his DVM from the University of Ghana in 2019. After two years in small animal practice, he pursued a master’s in Comparative and Experimental Medicine at the University of Tennessee. In 2024, he joined the Texas A&M University GI Lab to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Science, focusing on Heterobilharzia americana. Currently, he’s dedicated to optimizing diagnostic methods for Heterobilharzia americana.

Outside of his research, Francis enjoys watching soccer and has a passion for Barcelona FC. He also loves taking long drives, needing nothing more than the music in his car.
