Sarah graduated from Texas A&M University with a Biomedical Science Degree in 2002. She worked for many years in the GI lab as a technician and then as lab manager. In 2012 she relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah where she was on a team of research scientists who developed an FDA-cleared multiplex PCR panel for human GI diagnostics. She also spent some time doing R&D in companion diagnostics at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Austin, TX . Sarah recently located back to College Station in the fall of 2019 to continue her career at the GI lab. She has 2 golden retrievers named Kyle and Blue and 2 cats named Bellie and Meepy Cat. She enjoys spending time with her family, Aggie football and watching her kids play soccer.
