VMBS Staff Recognized For Achievements, Longevity At Annual Awards Ceremony
The Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) recognized 21 staff members for their outstanding performance and accomplishments at the 2024 Staff Awards Ceremony on Nov. 7.
Winners of the Staff Recognition Award include Jeannette Bayer, Beth Bernardo, Sybil Camacho, Docia Charanza, Alexis Fichtel, Elizabeth Garza, Leah Garza, Bryce Groves, Michael Hawkins, and Roberta Pugh.
In addition, Kimberly Hensarling received the W. Terry Stiles Service Award and Jennifer Wilson received the Pearl Enfield Staff Leadership Award.
Staff members who were recognized through the Aggie Way Engagement Program in 2024 also received awards at the ceremony. These individuals included Ashley Gustafson-Seabury, Elizabeth Hinton, Joe Hinton, III, Stephanie Hollis, Sherri Jerzyk, Stephanie Oakley-Fajardo, Billy Wansitler, Dana Whitaker, and Toni Williams.
Many other staff members were also recognized with longevity awards for up to 25 years of service at the VMBS.
The five-year longevity award recipients were Megan Adair, Irene Alcala, Moiz Ansari, Megan Bennett, Sybil Camacho, Brecaa Coffman-Wheaton, Tony Devine, Madeline Droog, Kendra Fletcher, Valeri Gibbs, Isabella Gomez, Victoria Gonzalez, Jake Heidman, Megan Hewitt, Christopher Laine, Patrick Mahoney, Kelly Mallett, Bradly Mendez, Justin Moore, Hannah Nicosia, Yesenia Nieto, Nicholas Petry, Olivia Price, Anna Pruski, Lori Reismeier, Sara Spencer, Ashley Wiley, and Mandy Zachgo.
The 10-year longevity award recipients were Joshua Addison, Richard Colson, Brandy Craft, Rebecca Davis, Loretta Emola, Melissa Espinoza, Marina Harrison, Shannon Jackson, Zejna Merdzo, Aaron Pizzitola, Jerri Rubio, Mathew Singletary, Misty Skaggs, Kathie Smith, Michaela Thomas, Javier Vinasco-Torres, Gus Wright, and Jing Wu.
The 15-year longevity award recipients were Jeffrey Bray, Jaclyn Christensen, Kristen Flitcroft, Tina Karkoska, Jairam Katta, Erin Lester, Amy Savarino, Jason Wilson-Maki, and Gene Wood.
The 20-year longevity award recipients were Katrina LaCaze and Lisa Roberts-Helton.
The 25-year longevity award recipients were Lisa Broussard, Wendy Greathouse, Ellie Greenbaum, Jianhua Guo, Elizabeth Hinton, Linda Knight, Darla Montalvo, Sandra Nunn, Victor Pineda, and Shelley Sides.
The 30-year longevity award recipients were Andy Ambrus, Martha Huebner, and Debra Turner.
Finally, a 35-year longevity award was given to Yolanda Brinkman and a 50-year longevity award was given to Roberta Pugh.
