Dean Talks About Future At Henry Schein Summit

Dr. Eleanor Green, the Carl B. King Dean of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University, delivered a presentation on “The Future is Here: Are We Ready” to a group of approximately 600 veterinarians, technicians, and office managers who participated in the Henry Schein Animal Veterinary Summit.
The summit, an annual customer meeting held Oct. 10-12 at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, was designed to assist Henry Schein customers to grow the business of veterinary medicine through better utilization of data, new services, and forward booking.
It also is a platform for attendees to earn continuing education credits and gain knowledge and useful business solutions they can take back to their individual practices and put into play that grows the veterinary industry.
Dr. Rustin Moore, dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University, also participated in a TED Talk on the human-animal bond, discussing how pets help us to live longer and better lives.
