The State Employee Charitable Campaign ends successfully
The 2015 State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) at Texas A&M was completed in November. This marked the end of seven fundraisers that benefitted five special organizations: Aggieland Humane Society, Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach, Breast Cancer Awareness, Service Dogs, and Camp Agape.
The grand total the Texas A&M CVM raised for the SECC this year was $24,636.31, which surpassed last year’s earnings by $2018.88. The SECC fundraising events included the Donut Day Sale, the Hamburger Luncheon, and the Halloween Bake Sale. These events contributed to the earnings of the organization along with donations through payroll deductions and one-time payments.
The CVM thanks all who supported their fundraisers and donated to these charities. Also, the CVM would like to recognize the departmental unit coordinators, who we instrumental in the Texas A&M SECC fundraising efforts:
