Application Deadline:
- All applications must be submitted by MIDNIGHT, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2024
Eligibility:
- All Texas A&M University students currently enrolled in the DVM-granting program are eligible to apply, as are students enrolled in DVM-granting programs at other US institutions.
- Students with an advanced degree (requiring a thesis or dissertation) in a field of science, and students currently enrolled in graduate school should contact Dr. Tracy Vemulapalli (tvemulapalli@tamu.edu) regarding your eligibility.

All applying students, including Texas A&M students, will need to provide the following:
- GPA and Resume as an indication of strong academic performance
- ~200 word description of the probable research project (clarity of hypothesis and significance; students’ demonstrated understanding of the project)
- statements of motivation and program expectations, and how participation in the program will contribute toward the student’s career path
- recommendation from the student’s proposed faculty mentor
Other Students (non-Texas A&M University):
- Please request a letter from your Associate Dean providing:
- a statement of your good standing in the professional curriculum at your college of veterinary medicine,
- your professional school GPA, and
- your present class ranking.
