Serum Assays
- Trypsin-Like Immunoreactivity (TLI)
- For exocrine pancreatic function testing (i.e to diagnose EPI) in dogs and cats (species-specific)
- Cobalamin (Vitamin B12) and Folate
- Test of small intestinal function (not species-specific)
- Pancreatic Lipase Immunoreactivity (PLI)
- Test for diagnosis of pancreatitis in dogs and cats (species-specific). Additional information regarding the various lipase assays

Plasma Assays
Please note, beginning January 1, 2024, the NuQ Vet Cancer Test will no longer be performed at the Gastrointestinal Lab. After the new year, IDEXX Laboratories will begin offering the NuQ Vet Cancer Test. Due to the sensitive nature of this assay, it is important to make preparations to submit NuQ Vet Cancer Test samples to IDEXX in 2024.
