Arden Kemler Award

Presented to a second-year student who shows exceptional proficiency, interest, and ability in anatomy

Award for Proficiency in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care

Presented to a fourth-year student who demonstrates commitment and proficiency in caring for emergency and critical care patients

Dechra Excellence in Dermatology Award

Given to a fourth-year student to recognize their enthusiasm and superior performance in clinical dermatology

Dechra Excellence in Equine Sports Medicine Award

Presented to a fourth-year student exhibiting above average proficiency in the diagnosis and management of equine sports medicine cases, including rehabilitation and lameness disorders

Dechra Excellence in Small Animal Internal Medicine Award

Presented to a fourth-year student who exhibits an interest and proficiency in small animal internal medicine

Feline Veterinary Medical Association Award (Formerly known as AAFP)

Recognizes a fourth-year student who demonstrates dedication to the study of feline healthcare and wellbeing

Fred P. Jaggie Award

Presented to a fourth-year student who excels in veterinary public health and has shown great interest in the field

George T. Edds Award

Presented to graduate students who demonstrate academic excellence in the field of toxicology

Gerald Bratton & Charles Hall Clinical Neurology Award

Recognizes a fourth-year student who shows aptitude in the study of clinical neurology and neuroanatomy

Griffeth-Quick Cardiology Award

Given by Terri & Landis Griffeth and Linda & Mark Quick, in memory of their beloved pets, Abby and Maggie, to recognize a fourth-year student who demonstrates clinical proficiency in small animal cardiology

John Milliff ’28 Veterinary Student Award

Presented to a third-year student who displays compassion when treating or handling animals

Kaytee Avian & Special Species Excellence Award

Presented to a fourth-year student who demonstrates excellence in companion bird and non-domestic avian medicine, surgery, and management

Merck Parasitology Awards

Presented to veterinary students who demonstrate outstanding achievement and enthusiasm for parasitology in small and production animals

North American Veterinary Anesthesia Society Student Anesthesia Award

Awarded to a fourth-year student at a North American College of Veterinary Medicine who has demonstrated clinical excellence, aptitude and interest in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia

Outstanding Masters Student Award

Given to a graduate student who excels in research, academics, and proposal submissions during their graduate studies.

Outstanding Non-Thesis Masters Student Award

Given to a graduate student who excels in academics, awards, and honors and participates in extracurricular activities during their graduate studies.

Outstanding PhD Student Award
