CVMBS Hosts Second Community Storytelling Event
Faculty, staff, students, and administrators from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) gathered on Zoom on March 23 for the college’s second CIVITAS community storytelling event.
The theme for the night was “Strangers in a Strange Land,” and featured eight storytellers: Tracy Vemulapalli, Hope Merriam, Emma Warry, Margaret Cook, Irina Yankin, Savannah Wilkinson, Jaci Christensen, and Larry Suva.
The CIVITAS (Latin for “community”) storytelling event was hosted by the CVMBS’ Professional Programs Office, Committee for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability (C-IDEA), and the Student Wellness Committee, which provided gift cards to all student speakers.
The full event recording is available on the CVMBS YouTube channel.
