Cohorts are smaller social groups within PVS created to foster a community among pre-vet students. Each cohort, led by two PVS officers, will host social events throughout the year to help members build connections outside a purely pre-vet environment. Your cohort leaders will also keep you updated on PVS events and information and always be available to answer your questions.
You do not have to be a PVS member to be in a cohort. However, dues-paying PVS members will receive 1 point for each cohort social they attend, capped at 4 points. The total points of all PVS members in each cohort will be summed before each meeting, and these totals will be ranked in a friendly competition. The cohort with the most points at the end of the semester will earn a prize pizza party and 6 points. Eligible cohort winners, members who attended at least 2 socials that semester, will earn an additional piece of themed merchandise.
