A block of rooms has been negotiated at a discounted rate for attendees of the Symposium and the Texas Genetics Society Annual Meeting at the Doug Pitcock ’49 Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center. It is the location of the Womack Symposium.
Event Rate: $159 per night

Air Travel
- Easterwood Airport in College Station (CLL) is the closest airport to Texas A&M, located just five minutes from campus.
- Direct flights from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) are available on American Airlines.
Ground Transportation
- Ground Shuttle is available from Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to College Station for $52 each way.
- Texas Shuttle offers a shuttle between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and College Station.
- Uber and Lyft also operate in the Bryan/College Station area.
- AVIS, Enterprise, and Alamo offer car rentals at Easterwood Airport.
Driving Directions
If you’re arriving via Highway 6:
- Take the University Drive exit and proceed west on University Drive (which becomes Raymond Stotzer Parkway).
- In about three miles, you’ll come to an overpass. Take the “exit” to the right before the overpass and then turn left on Wellborn Road at the light.
- Make a left at the third traffic light onto Joe Routt Blvd.
- The HCC is at the corner of Joe Routt Blvd and Wellborn Road.
If you’re arriving via Highway 21:
- Exit Highway 47 at the Texas A&M RELLIS campus.
- Continue on Highway 47 until it intersects with Raymond Stotzer Parkway (FM 60) and head east toward the main Texas A&M campus.
- Go under the overpass at Wellborn Road and take the “exit” to the right. At the light, turn left onto Wellborn Road.
- Make a left at the second traffic light onto Joe Routt Blvd.
- The HCC is at the corner of Joe Routt Blvd and Wellborn Road.
Parking
- Paid parking is available in the Gene Stallings Blvd. Parking Garage, which is next to the HCC.
Bus
- Texas A&M operates a bus system on and off campus.
