Vaccine biology
Vaccine biology is addressed through a series of questions answered by Dr. Ian Tizard, Distinguished Professor of Immunology in Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.
Vaccine Biology by an Immunologist

Introduction:
The two main functions of immunity are to prevent foreign invaders of the body and to maintain a germ-free environment within the body. Dr. Tizard describes two main foreign invaders of the body (bacteria and viruses) although these are others (worms, protozoa, and fungi). He continues by telling how immunity fights invaders of the body and how vaccines historically have been effective in preventing and eradicating several diseases induced by invaders of the body.
Basic immunity – Fighting invaders of the body:
What is immunity?
What are the characteristics of the immune system?
What defense mechanisms does the body have to combat infections?
Why are burn victims at an increased risk of infection?
What are antibodies?
How does our immune system target viruses?
How does immunity change with repeated exposures?
How does aging affect our immune system?
Why do people have different immune responses to the same invader?
Why do very old or very young people get sick more easily?
What is the thymus?

Vaccinations – How does vaccines work:
Where did the idea of vaccinations come from?
What are some alternatives to live vaccines?
Why do we receive vaccinations in our arms?
How are vaccinations given into muscle converted into an immune response?
Are vaccines safe?
What do scientists do to ensure that vaccines are safe for use?
What are vaccines made of?
How are vaccines delivered to the people?

Vaccine hesitancy
Vaccine hesitancy is addressed through a series of questions answered by Dr. Ian Tizard, Distinguished Professor of Immunology in Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University in College Station TX.
Science of the coronavirus:
Science of the coronavirus: Science delivers evolving knowledge, coronavirus genetic code, and coronavirus vaccines.
Coronavirus vaccines:
Dr. Tizard describes coronavirus vaccines with its development to attack coronavirus, how coronavirus vaccines work with the immune system, availability of vaccines, why coronavirus vaccine can make you sick temporally, its effectiveness, the absence of tracking devices, why should we get the coronavirus vaccine, and why nearly everyone (for herd immunity) needs to receive the coronavirus vaccine.
What vaccines have been developed to attack coronavirus?
How do coronavirus vaccines work?
Can you get sick from getting the coronavirus vaccine?
Why should we get the coronavirus vaccine?
How do vaccines work with the immune system?
Why is it important that everyone receive the coronavirus vaccine?
Will the vaccines be available to all ages, including infants?
Why can vaccinated people still get coronavirus?
Are there microchips in the vaccine?

Vaccine hesitancy reassurances:
Dr. Tizard describes COVID-19, its possible relationship between bats and coronavirus, steps to stop COVID-19, how scientists determine that the COVID-19 Vaccines are safe, real world evidence of success of COVID-19 vaccines, COVID 19 vaccines available in the United States and other countries, and why some vaccinated people get sick from COVID-19. He describes how COVID-19 virus changed over time, why more young people are getting sick, and how new variants evolve to become more infectious?
What is COVID-19?
How are bats tied to coronavirus?
What steps can we take to stop COVID-19 from spreading?
How do scientists determine that the COVID-19 Vaccines are safe for use?
Do we have real world evidence that the COVID-19 vaccines work?
What COVID-19 vaccines are available in the United States?
What COVID-19 vaccines are available in other countries?
Can vaccinated people get sick from COVID-19?
How has the COVID-19 virus changed over time and why does that matter for young people?
How do new variants in the COVID-19 virus matter to young people?
Why have newer variants of COVID-19 virus resulted in more young people getting sick?
How have the COVID-19 variants, like Delta, changed to become more infectious?

Vaccine hesitancy myths:
Dr. Tizard defines vaccine hesitancy and described why vaccinated individuals might get or die from COVID-19, why those already had COVID-19 need to get vaccinated too, why some parents hesitant to vaccinate their children, the lack of unsafe chemicals in vaccines, does the vaccine induce Covid-19, and how do vaccines get the mRNA into cells to induce the immune response.
What is vaccine hesitancy?
Why may some people who are infected with COVID-19 still die, even if they recently received a vaccine?
Is there any advantage to vaccinating individuals who are already infected with COVID-19?
Are people better at fighting COVID-19 naturally or with the COVID-19 vaccine?
Why are some parents hesitant to vaccinate their children?
Do vaccines contain unsafe chemicals?
Do we still need to get vaccinated if we are clean and practice good hygiene?
Can I get COVID-19 from the COVID-19 vaccine?
How do the COVID-19 vaccines get the mRNA into cells?
