A busy start of the year
We’ve had an incredibly busy month monitoring nests and chicks! Over the past few weeks, we’ve completed FOUR expeditions along the Tambopata River, tackling clay lick monitoring, nest and chick checks, and plant phenology studies. Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing all the highlights in the coming days!
A HUGE shoutout to our amazing Tambopata team for their hard work and dedication Carlos Huamani, Jorge Luis Rengifo, and @uan Pedro Portaro—you’re the best!
We’re also deeply grateful to Harrison’s Bird Foods for their invaluable support, which helps us continue our wild psittacine research. And special thanks to ProCiencia for always championing scientific research in Peru
