First egg of the season in Punta Leona, Costa Rica
Great news from Costa Rica! WE HAVE OUR FIRST EGG OF THE SEASON!!
Early on Friday, Jan 20th we found one egg in the CEIBA BAJO nest. Same pair as last year, the first ones to lay eggs again. A few hours later we discover a fresh egg in CEIBA ALTO nest and the following day, one egg in GUANACASTE nest. It was a busy weekend for wild macaws at Hotel Punta Leona Costa Rica.
