First macaw fledgling from Bosque Escondido

We are super pleased to announce the discovery of the FIRST macaw fledgling from Bosque Escondido! Spotted beside its parents near the “Lapas” feeding station, it’s already showing impressive flying skills (yay!), though it’s quite the persistent beggar when it comes to food. This success is the culmination of over two decades of dedicated reintroduction work by RESCATE Wildlife Rescue Center.

Kudos to RESCATE and the macaw parents – a job well done!
