Recent released parrots’ sightings at Bosque Escondido
These two recently released Yellow-naped Amazon Parrots (Amazona auropaliatta) have been consistently visiting our release area for two weeks now! They’re still a bit shy around other parrots but have formed a tight bond with each other. Judging by their plumage and behavior, it’s clear that they are fledglings and are just learning how being a wild parrot.
We’re excited to watch them grow and succeed post-release!
