Thriving in the Wild: Yellow-naped Amazon Fledglings Soar at Bosque Escondido!
Three months after fledging, the offspring of a reintroduced Yellow-naped Amazon pair are thriving in the wild at Bosque Escondido Reserve! Four of the five fledglings have been spotted, and they are already integrating well into the local population. Though still reliant on their parents for food, they have begun visiting feeding stations and sampling wild foods on their own—a major milestone for their independence.
Together, we are making strides to protect and preserve the future of these incredible parrots!
