Staff Awards
University 2023
Nominations are now open for the 2023 President’s Meritorious Service Awards and Student Employee of the Year Awards, both proudly supported by donors to The Association of Former Students!
Texas A&M University President M. Katherine Banks presents these prestigious awards in recognition of outstanding staff who have demonstrated their commitment to the Aggie Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity, and Selfless Service.
Each staff honoree receives a monetary award, a commemorative plaque, and a gold lapel pin.

VMBS Staff Recognition Awards
The VMBS Staff Recognition Awards timeframe and awards program are being re-energized, and your nominations are needed! This VMBS staff recognition event is held each year to recognize outstanding performance and accomplishments demonstrated by VMBS staff members. We encourage you to participate in this event by nominating fellow VMBS staff employees who emulate the values outlined in each of the staff award nomination packets.
Please find below the nomination forms for the VMBS Staff Recognition Awards, the Pearl Enfield Staff Leadership Award, and the W. Terry Stiles Service Award. Also, please find below the list of previous award winners who are not eligible to be nominated because they received a staff award within the past five years. Directions for nomination and submission criteria are included in the nomination forms.
Once the submitted nominations have been reviewed, ten recipients will be selected for the VMBS Staff Recognition Awards, one recipient will be selected for the Pearl Enfield Staff Leadership Award, and one recipient will be selected for the W. Terry Stiles Service Award.
- Nominations for the VMBS Staff Recognition Awards and the Pearl Enfield Staff Leadership Award are due to your Department’s Executive Staff Council (ESC) representative by Monday, September 18, 2023. Please find your ESC representative in the nomination guidelines.
