Wednesday, May 1, 2024
- Texas Medical & Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS) application opens for Entry Year 2025 (EY 2025).
- The applicant may begin their Texas A&M DVM supplemental application as soon as they have a TMDSAS ID number, which is provided when a TMDSAS application has been initiated.
- Beginning the supplemental application will initiate applicant access to their individual Texas A&M Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) dashboard.
- Applicants may enter evaluator names in the TMDSAS application (Instructions). One evaluation must be completed by a veterinarian. All evaluations must be completed by individuals other than family members.

- Applicants may begin taking the Casper Assessment from Acuity Insights.
Wednesday, May 15, 2024
- Applicants may begin submitting TMDSAS applications.
Friday, Aug. 16, 2024
- Applicants must have completed or be enrolled in the following by the application deadline (if they are enrolled, then they must be completed by December 2024 with a grade of “C” or better): Organic Chemistry I with lab, Physics I with lab, and Biochemistry.
DEADLINE: Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024
- Last day to register for a Casper Assessment for EY 2025 cycle.
Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024
- Last day to complete the Casper Assessment for EY 2025 cycle.
DEADLINE: Friday, Aug. 30, 2024
- TMDSAS application and fees are due by 11:59 p.m. CT.
- Three evaluations, including at least one from a veterinarian, must be received by TMDSAS by 11:59 p.m. CT.
- Texas A&M DVM supplemental application and fee are due by 11:59 p.m. CT.
- Please note: While supplemental application fees are due by Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT, the fees may take up to two weeks to clear and show on your dashboard.
- Please save your receipt as proof of meeting the payment deadline.
- An applicant has met the supplemental application payment deadline as long as $75 is submitted and acknowledged in Flywire with a receipt time-stamped prior to the admission’s cycle deadline.

- All transcripts must be submitted to Texas A&M VMBS within 15 days of the end of the spring semester.
- Official transcripts from your institution can be emailed or mailed using the contact information listed below.

Notes
- TMDSAS help: Visit tmdsas.com and click on “Get Support.”
- TMDSAS provides “Next Steps After Submitting” application information (for example, the status of evaluations, receipt of payment, etc.).
- Transcripts should not be submitted to TMDSAS until they are requested by TMDSAS.
- The Casper Assessment from Acuity Insights must be taken each year.
- Snapshot nor Duet are required.
- The Texas A&M DVM supplemental application fee is $75 and must be paid at the time of submission.
- Please enter your TMDSAS number when requested to match the payment to the supplemental application and keep a copy of your receipt.
- Failure to have evaluations to TMDSAS by August 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT will disqualify your application to the Texas A&M DVM Professional Program.
- One letter of evaluation must be from a veterinarian.
- Evaluations from family members are NOT acceptable.
- Admissions Selection
- TMDSAS applications can take four to six weeks to process and be transmitted to the Texas A&M VMBS.
- The Texas A&M VMBS dashboard will not update until after we have received and processed a TMDSAS-transmitted application.
- The GRE will not be used for the current admissions process. Please visit our website for any updates to this requirement.
- The Texas A&M VMBS DVM Professional Program office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding university holidays.
