Freshman applicants are students who have not yet attended college. Students should apply to the Biomedical Sciences (BIMS) program through Texas A&M University as direct applicants.
Students who declare BIMS as their major of choice, as long as they are admitted to the university, will be accepted into the BIMS program.
All students must meet the following requirements to be admitted to the upper level of the program:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50
- Completion of 60 or more credit hours
- Completion of Common Body of Knowledge courses
