Advising Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:30–4:30 p.m.

• Advisors will be available for both drop-ins and appointments on a rotating basis. Different advisors will have availability on different days for scheduled appointments and drop-ins, so please check alternate days if you have a preferred advisor!

Wednesday: 8:30–11:30 a.m. — Drop-in availability only, no scheduled appointments

Appointments and Drop-Ins are held on Zoom and in person at the BIMS office, located in Suite 123 of the VIDI (#1813) Building at the Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex (VBEC).

BIMS Navigate Service Options

In-Person Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled to discuss general advising questions, change of majors and minors, Q-drop or withdrawals, and class registration. You can make an appointment by following these steps:

1. Log in to Navigate
2. Select New Appointment page
3. Choose Type of Appointment: Advising Texas A&M University
4. Choose Service: College of Arts & Sciences
5. Choose a service (i.e., AT – General Advising)
6. Select Find Available Time
7. Select AT-BIMS on the right side of page
8. Find day and time
9. Enter reason for appointment in Comments

Drop-Ins

Drop-In appointments are available to discuss general advising questions. You can check into Drop-Ins by following these steps:

1. Check in to Navigate
2. Select Dashboard
3. Select Schedule appointment
4. View drop-in times
5. Select AT – General Advising
6. Find times
7. Select AT- BIMS
8. Select First Available
