Seeking Externs, Full-Time Veterinarians, and Summer Positions
At MissionVet, we offer an exceptional externship program designed to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and exposure to various specialties within our state-of-the-art facility in San Antonio, TX.
What Our Externships Offer
Experience Real-World Veterinary Medicine:
• Work alongside our doctors in a real-world setting.
• Shadow our doctors during patient interactions and client consultations.
• Assist doctors with physical exams, formation of problem lists, development of diagnostic and treatment plans, and with some procedures.
Exposure to Advanced Equipment:
• Coagulation and VCM, high-flow oxygen therapy, blood gas analyzer, and digital cytology tools.
• 1.5 Tesla GE MRI
• 16-slice helical CT scanner
• Specialized equipment for procedures like bronchoscopy, endoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, and foreign body retrieval.
