Texas A&M Student Chapter of the Student Veterinary Dermatology Club
SVDC was founded in Spring of 2012. We are the first dermatology club at an AVMA accredited veterinary school. Being a part of SVDC means being a part of something new and exciting! The purpose of this chapter is to promote the specialty of dermatology through the advancement of knowledge to veterinary medical students.
Affiliation includes the following benefits:
- eligibility for participation in a wet labs
- opportunities to participate in a sponsored small-group lunch with various veterinarians and dermatology product reps
- opportunity to participate in a 1 or 2 week summer rotation in the dermatology practice at Texas A&M Small Animal Teaching Hospital
- extra volunteer positions at the dermatology room during Open House
