Our Family Vet is a multi-practice hospital group nestled in the idyllic piney woods of East Texas, just south of Tyler. Our mission is to help families experience the power of the human/animal bond by providing clinical, surgical and wellness services that will help pets grow healthy and live enjoyable lives with their human counterparts. We strive to build relationships with our patients and their families for lifelong care. Serving our communities for over 20 years, Our Family Vet has built an environment to transition from academic training to clinical application. As a mixed animal practice (dogs, cats, horses, cattle, show pigs, goats and lambs), there is abundant opportunity to learn with a varied and interesting case load.
Our Family Vet is seeking veterinary externs, summer internships as well as new grad associate DVMs. We provide paid externships/internships and onsite housing is available.
We are hosting an event “The Journey to a Veterinary Career” hosted by Dr. John Alexander, Medical Director of Our Family Vet. The event will be held on March 19, at Big Shots Golf from 5pm-8pm. Dinner, drinks and golf will be provided.
